FAQs About Delivery

All the food is freshly prepared at our central kitchen at Croydon packed in sealed containers & packs to ensure freshness. The delivery boxes are packed with ice packs, and while these may defrost slightly during transit, they would have kept things cool.

K+K@Home our Nationwide Delivery service is 5 days a week from Tuesdays to Saturdays. We deliver through England, Wales and Parts of Scotland. We currently do not deliver to the following locations Offshore, Hebridesand Islands.


Order 2 days in advance by midnight or pre-order for a future date. On bank holiday weekends our delivery service will be reduced.

K+K@Home Nationwide Delivery Cost:

We offer free delivery for all orders above £70.

Our standard nationwide delivery charge anywhere in the UK is £7.50


K+K Express Local Delivery Cost:

Standard Delivery (Upto 5 Miles): Order value between £20.00 - £50.00 - From £5*

Standard Delivery (Between 5 - 8 Miles): Order value between £20.00 - £50.00 - From £7.50*


Large Delivery (Up to 5 Miles) Order value above £50.01 - From £3.00*

Large Delivery (Between 5 - 8 Miles): Order value above £50.01 - From £5.50*


*Note: Above local delivery rates are charged by our delivery partner company. Rates will be updated based on the distance and the order value when you enter your address at the checkout.

We use DPD as our delivery partner. DPD offers a ‘predict’ delivery service whereby they inform customers of a one-hour delivery window notified by SMS and/or email – so you don’t have to wait all day.


Additionally, you can watch the progress of your delivery driver on a real-time map.

If your plans change and you’re not able to sign for your order, DPD offers a range of ‘in flight’ options such as: deliver to neighbour, have the parcel delivered to a safe place or collect your parcel from a local pick up shop (restrictions apply to the last option).


Note: While we endeavour to get your order to you in the stated time frame, K+K@Home cannot be held responsible for our courier’s failure to deliver to the specified time due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. In these instances, we will, however, make our best efforts to correct the problem. If delivery fails on the selected day, it will be reattempted the next day.


Under these circumstances, please contact our Customer Care Team by emailing hello@kkstreetfood.com to discuss your issue.

Our weekdays delivery will reach customers between 8am - 2pm and on Saturdays delivery will be between 8am - 5pm. Please note that DPD delivers up until about 9pm on Weekdays and Saturdays, so there is a chance that you might be allocated an evening hour's time slot depending upon how busy DPD drivers are.


DPD will give you an ETA hour slot. This will be messaged to you through text and email in the morning on your selected delivery day, when DPD will have loaded the vehicle.


Your hour's time slot cannot be changed as it is within the driver's fixed route. You can, however, request that your box is left with a neighbour or in a safe place if you are unlikely to be at your property at this time. DPD will take a photo when it is delivered and send this to you for confirmation.

If your K+K@Home meal box has not arrived within DPD's allocated delivery time slot you may reach out directly to DPD, as they will have all of the relevant information as well.

When there is a lot of snow in the UK, K+K will do everything within our power to get your meal box delivered safely to you on the day of your order.


Please keep an eye on this tracking link to find out more about the effect of the snow on DPD deliveries in your area.


If it’s particularly snowy in your area, we’d recommend having a back up plan for dinner!


If a part of your meal is missing, please get in touch with our Customer Support team with your order number and we will be able to get this sorted for you as soon as possible.

Ordering

Once your order is confirmed and the payment has been taken, you'll receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk or spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox.


If you still can't find the order confirmation email, please reach out to us at hello@kkstreetfood.com and we will resend the order confirmation.

Before the day of delivery we will send an email notification with a DPD tracking number. And once the order is collected from our kitchen you will receive one more email confirmation directly from the DPD team.


Please check your junk or spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox. If you still can't find the order confirmation email, please reach out to us at hello@kkstreetfood.com and we will resend the order confirmation.

If changes are required before the cut off window for an order, please email hello@kkstreetfood.com and we will try to get them made for you.

Yes, we currently open up from Tuesday to Saturday deliveries for at least four weeks at a time (except bank holidays, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve).

All orders are taken and processed online.

Minimum order is £30 – simply jump onto our products page and place your order for home delivery.

To cancel your order, you must email hello@kkstreetfood.com with your order number 3 days before the delivery day of your order.


Once we've received your request, we will cancel your order and process a refund. Your refund will show on your statement in 5-7 working days.


In the event where you've used a gift card to purchase the original order, the refund will return to the gift card for you to use against your next purchase.

To change your order date, you must email hello@kkstreetfood.com with your order number 3 days before the delivery day of your order and we will be able to do this for you!

Please bear in mind the last chance to make amendments to orders is 3 days before your order is due to arrive.

FAQs About FOOD

All our packs are cooked freshly and designed for the convenience of simply heating at home. However, the only item that does require cooking by customers is the Short-Eats. Kindly follow individual pack instructions to ensure maximum flavour and freshness of your meal.

All storage and warming instructions are clearly detailed on the individual packs. In case you have thrown the packaging, these instructions can also be found here.

Packs must be put in the fridge upon receipt. We advise consuming the meals within two days of receipt.

All our packs except the Street Food category are suitable for freezing - however kindly freeze on the day of receipt. Packs must be fully defrosted before warming. Consume within 1 month and never refreeze.

Allergens and Dietary Choices

Our meals are prepared freshly in our central kitchen at Croydon location whose environment contains eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, crustaceans, soy, nuts, tree nuts, gluten, lupin and sulphites. Though best practices are used in preparing the meal, inadvertent cross-contamination may occur. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of these allergens.

Yes, all our meat are Halal and we source our meat locally from Tariq Halal Meats in Croydon.

Absolutely, roughly 50% of our menu is naturally vegan, you can find the dietary information on each dish. So you have plenty of choices.


Please bear in mind that the food is packaged and packed in an environment that handles all allergens.

Except Malabar parotta, all our food does not contain milk or dairy products. Please bear in mind that the food is packaged and packed in an environment that handles all allergens.

Our food is authentic and close to what we eat at home, contrary to belief Sri Lankan & South Indian food is not all about the heat or spicy we have a lot of dishes that are mild and flavoursome. See each dish for heat or spice level with our Spice Meter.

Gift Cards

We've made gifting easy, so you can focus on spoiling your family and friends. Once your purchase, we'll email your gift to the recipient card to their inbox


We currently have e-gift cards for these set amounts:

.Give a box: £50 - this covers an £50 box and the £7.50 shipping cost

.Give a box: £80 - this covers an £80 box and the £7.50 shipping cost

.Give a box: £100 - this covers an £100 box and the £7.50 shipping cost


The recipient can pay the difference if they choose to add more food to their order.


Gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of issue.


If they have some money left on their gift card, they may use this against an order in the future.
