Ready to Eat: Ambula refers to the rice & curry eaten by rice farmers working in their fields. While the word ambula, literally meaning "sour" in the Sinhalese language, the meal that is served in the fields is a traditional meal that is wholesome and nutritious. This meal differs from one province to another. The ingredients used in Ambula is passed down from generation to generation, which helps farmers to maintain a healthy life.

Our version takes inspiration from the different vegan dishes that is featured in many of the provinces, focusing on brining the best secrets of healthy living of Sri Lankan farmers to you.

Includes Red Raw Rice, Polo Ambula (Jakfruit Kari), Brinjal Moju, Beet Root Kari, Ala Thel Dala (Deviled Potatoes) and Senni Sambol.

Heating Instructions:
Bake from Chill in a GAS 4/180°C/350°F oven for 20-25 minutes. Alternatively place in microwave for 5 mins in the highest power setting available. Serve hot. Do not reheat.
