Ceylon Red Rice - Vegan
Ready to Eat: Sri Lankans love their rice and it is a staple of the Sri Lankan diet. This healthy red rice gets its colour from an antioxidant called anthocyanins which are also found in red fruits and vegetables. It has a nutty, earthy flavour, with a texture somewhere between white and brown rice. This flavourful rice goes great with vegetable sides and meat karis (curries).
